We’re Paige Blaze and Eddie Bane—co-authors of 1987: An Unfinished Love Story. Our journey began as teenagers in South Padre Island, Texas, where one unforgettable summer changed everything. Life pulled us apart, but 35 years later fate brought us back together.

All About THE AUTHORS
Paige is a proud mom of two grown sons and a doting grandmother to a beloved little girl. Born in the Philippines but raised in Texas, Paige graduated from the University of Texas and grew up in a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family bonds. Her father, whom she was deeply close to, passed away in 2020 from prostate cancer — a loss that left a lasting mark on her heart. Paige remains very close to her mother, cherishing the deep connection they share, and she loves and misses her dearly. Today, she smiles knowing her brother, once the little boy in Superman pajamas, is now a proud dad himself, playing Superman to his two young daughters. Paige is a passionate advocate for women’s health, especially raising awareness around stress and adrenal fatigue. She has dedicated many years to animal rescue efforts in Texas, including working on hurricane disaster response teams to save and protect animals in crisis. Paige also has a deep love for travel, always eager to explore new places, experience new things, and soak in the beauty of the world around her.
Eddie is a devoted father of one daughter, and successful business owner with a zest for life and a love of adventure. An avid boater and outdoorsman, Eddie is passionate about Jeeps, overlanding, and exploring nature’s backroads. He is also a self-proclaimed food connoisseur with an appetite for the finer things in life, from fine dining to exceptional wines. Eddie still carries a big love for New Orleans, where music, food, and culture run deep in his heart. With his parents still living, Eddie remains grounded in the values they instilled in him: hard work, family, and a love for life’s rich experiences.
